Things I'm grateful for during winter in Japan: moisturizing skincare

I'll be honest, before moving to Japan I didn't really think a great deal about skincare, and maybe that's because I was younger and didn't really have issues like dry skin and fine lines. These days I'm much more attuned to what my skin needs to look and feel its best, and I'm grateful that there are so many great skincare options here that don't break the bank.

A couple of my go-to winter skincare items — they're great for their hydrating properties!

During winter I really like using sheet masks, and the Lululun brand (pictured above) is one of my favorites for several reasons: they're inexpensive, you can find them just about everywhere (online, drug stores, etc.), and they work really well. The "moist" line is particularly good when the weather is dry outside.

I am also a massive fan of the Hadalabo lotion, which contains niacinamide and 3 types of hyaluronic acid. Both of those things are known for their awesome hydrating properties and anti-aging support. I order this lotion from Amazon Japan, but I think it's broadly available elsewhere too.

Do you have any winter skincare items that you love?
