Unassuming Rare LP Goldmine

Completely unassuming record store in the area between Furumachi and Honcho. The store’s vibe is hip and inviting, and the music selection is curated by the owner. The variety of records, cassette tapes, and CDs available was amazing, and I can honestly say that I had never heard of 90% of the artists on display. Some prices are marked, and some are not, but the owner is happy to talk with you about what you’re hoping to acquire. My curiosity was piqued, and the owner shared that he’s taken several trips abroad to add to what’s on offer at his store. It’s a small space, but there’s quite a bit to peruse and get lost in. If you’d like to take a trip outside what you know in music, give this store a visit.
