Too subtle for my liking

I think the price is probably the only positive thing about Calbee x Beisia's "Jagged lightly salted potato chips". At a push - the packaging is also quite nice. The blue color looks quite classy. Although I did find the packet quite hard to open. The potato chip itself is jagged, or rippled, like they claim. And they are also thick cut, like it says on the packaging too. They are available in Beisia stores nationwide, as far as I am aware. I don't know if they are a limited edition or here to stay.

Basically, the taste was way too subtle for my liking. One of my daughters also tried them and, unprompted by me, had the same claim. They do say 'lightly salted', but there are dozens of potato chip products on the market that are also lightly salted but have much more flavor. They had so little taste I found myself checking the packaging again to make sure I hadn't read it wrong! Because this is a collaboration between Calbee and supermarket chain Beisia, I imagine they are only selling them in Beisia supermarkets and you probably can't pick them up in another supermarket or convenience store.
