The description
A disposable camera by photography giant Fujifilm, with twenty seven frame / shots in this one use camera - photos need to be developed at a camera shop.
The good
Apart from the nostalgic value of these type of disposable cameras they are practical too! Especially as in my town there is a rule that children can not bring any type of device on their overnight school trips. They are also not allowed bring a proper camera, but disposable cameras are permitted and are very popular. They take a pretty decent picture. Furthermore, they have a flash that you can turn on and off so you can take shots indoors and in cloudy weather. Although, they don't take a particularly good shot at night or in a very dark room.
The not so good
There are two negatives about this disposable camera in my opinion. The first, and most pressing reason, is that they are really hard to come by when you need them most. For my sixth grader I tried several different shops for a disposable camera before eventually finding one, the last one, in Kitamura. My daughter wanted two so I kept hunting and finally found another, but the less popular "Kodak Fun Saver" and the shop had a stipulation that you could only buy one per person. I think that's a fair rule at this time of year when they are in high demand. The second, is that you have to develop the film, which is a bit of inconvenience and adds to the cost.
