Of the flavors of Karaage kun that I have tasted, the Golden Chicken flavor is my 'new' personal favorite. I say 'new', because the cheese flavor was my favorite flavor until I tasted the Golden Chicken a few weeks ago. Its so good, I've had it three times since! Reportedly its named Golden Chicken flavor after another of Lawson's chicken products, which is called "Golden Chicken". Lawson say that they use a higher quality of (domestic) chicken that is used in the rest of the karaage-kun for the Golden Chicken flavor.

I really don't have anything negative to say about Golden chicken flavor Karaage kun. It is slightly more expensive than most of the other karaage kun, but in my personal opinion it is well worth the extra yen. It is only available at Christmas time, from the end of November, but again I personally don't mind that too much. If it was available all the time, I'd probably eat it far too often and possibly tire of it. Although, I doubt it, because it really is that good! You can currently get a set with the Golden Chicken karaage kun and the original Golden Chicken too.
