I hadn't been to Starbucks in ages when I visited the Kawagoe branch yesterday. I didn't even know what the current limited edition Frappucino was, but when I saw the big signs for the "Strawberry Frappucino" I just had to taste it, even though in 2018 I was really disappointed with the strawberry frappucino and swore I'd never buy it again! I am glad I gave it another chance and this year the blend is much better. This year's Strawberry Frappucino is being pitched as there best one yet. And I will agree on that - of the ones I have tasted over the years, this one is the best.

This year once again they've put the chunks of strawberries in. I am not a fan of that. Because when you suck on the straw (and their straws are really wide) you can get a big chunk of strawberry unexpectedly. Once again, I nearly choked on my first sip yesterday. If they are going to put them in, I wish they'd advertise that on their promotional materials. If you are prepared, its less likely to be an issue! The other negative feature I would like to point out is that they only have one size: tall. And at 720 yen (dine in price, 707 for take out) you'd really want to be a fan to drink the whole of the tall size!
