Cream Taiyaki

Family Mart has good packaged sweets, and one that caught my eye recently was their Cream Taiyaki. I always think of taiyaki as something freshly made from the shop, but when it was still hot last week, I wanted something cold, and this was it.

This taiyaki can be heated up or enjoyed cold, and I tried the latter as it was more rare for taiyaki. To my surprise, the packaged product actually tasted really good. The crust was sweet and fluffy, and the cream was rich and fulfilling.

Since it is kind of a traditional sweet, I am definitely recommending this to my friends who are visiting Japan to pick up when they visit!
