I Love Strawberry Daifuku

One Japanese snack that I always recommend my friends to get is Strawberry Daifuku.

They are basically available at any supermarket and even some conbini stores, and most traditional Japanese sweet shops would have them too.

For 100 to 250 yen a pop, you get a juicy strawberry (sweetness depending on the store and the season) that is wrapped inside some sweet red-bean paste and then also wrapped in a layer of mochi.

Not only does the strawberry go surprisingly well with the red bean paste, but the triple texture with each bite is also purely amazing!

I definitely need to enjoy this more!
