Sapporo Wheat and Hop BLACK

Black beers are usually pricy, but Sapporo made a black low malt beer to try to satisfy the fans of black beers but at a fraction of the price.

I am not too experienced with black beers, but this 108 yen can definitely lacks the thick consistency that one would expect from proper ones. The flavour reminds me of black beers, but it also reminds me of black coffee and not in a good way.

It is not bad while it is still cold, but the moment it warmed up, I started to question what I was drinking.

I would recommend paying more for a real black beer instead.
