Spicy Cup Soupless Soba

Donbei is a popular brand by Nissin for their cup soba. That is right. Cup soba, not cup noodles. The idea is basically the same though.

But this one was especially interesting, as this was a soupless soba. After you have drained the water to cook the soba, it comes with a spicy tsuyu sauce to add into it for you to mix.

It also has instructions to cool the soba noodles down first if you want it chilled, which is what I did.

The sauce was surprisingly sweet and delicious. I really liked the texture and smoothness of the soba as well. I will definitely enjoy this in the summer over some hot soba.
