A Korean Happoshu
Many low malt beers are either made by the big named breweries in Japan or are some supermarket brands, but CO-OP had something interesting.
Their 84 yen happoshu was something I have never found anywhere, but a quick check of the label shows that it is made in Korea!
The taste was good but nothing mind-blowing. The Korean origin did not make it any better or worse than other supermarket brands.
It was rich and tasty without a bad aftertaste, but for the environment, I think I will taste to local brews to avoid supporting the shipping of cheap happoshu overseas.
