Getting Pineapples on Pizzas in Japan

Back home, I knew pineapple and ham pizza as Hawaiian pizza. But in Japan, it is called tropical pizza.

Either way, it remains a very controversial pizza even here.

Personally, I love it, and I know a few Japanese people who have tried it to really like it too.

However, a majority of people have simply never tried it and find the idea repulsive.

Given how expensive pizzas in Japan are, I totally understand that no one wants to drop 1500 yen to get half of their pizza covered with pineapples, but at the same time, I really wish more people would just give it a chance!
