Using Karubi-Yakiniku for Ramen Topping

You would think that the fatty karubi grilled meat would be a great alternative to chasiu as a ramen topping.

I have tried it, and it is not.

The karubi meat you can get from supermarkets for yakiniku are usually very thick, and while chasiu for ramen are soft and easy to eat, these are not.

So you will end up spending quite some time chewing through the meat while your noodles start to get soggy.

The yakiniku flavours also are not the best matches for ramen, so you are creating a conflict of flavours too.

If you have chasiu or yakibuta-grilled pork, stick with those instead.

Games, manga, and ramen. Those three things make up my Tri-force lol.
