Magnesium for Laundry (Environmentally Friendly)
I have just recently learned that there is something called "mag-chan", which are these small balls of magnesium that people put with their laundry, and the grease and stuff would be removed because of the magnesium (or by magic, I am not sure).
To try it out, we bought a "knock-off" version from Amazon and a net from 100 yen store for our laundry.
We have used it a few times so far, and we are quite happy. The clothes do not smell like anything afterwards, but avoiding all the chemicals and not washing them down the drain do sound like a good idea for the environment.
The magnesiums are reusable as well, so even though we bought a big bag, we are still reusing the small amount we started with.
Make sure you get a net though. You would not want them getting into pipes and stuff!

That sounds awesome! I've actually been looking for something like this.

@Kanuba it’s been satisfying us so far and I hope it will fit what you want too. They occasionally have sales in amazon so watch out for those!
