Koikeya's Consomme Potato Chips

When I first came to Japan, Calbee was my go-to for potato chips.

They are probably the biggest chips brand in Japan, but slowly I have found myself drawn to Koikeya's chips more and more.

Koikeya is great for one thing: rich flavours. Their Rich Consomme chips, for example, have every chip evenly flavoured, and each chip satisfies what I wanted from a bag of junk food.

I also really like how thin and crispy they are. Calbee might the biggest, but Koikeya's quality might just be a bit higher in my book.
