Price of Korean Shin Ramen in Japan

Shin ramen is a Korean instant noodle, and it is popular in Japan for those who want a challenge for something spicy, because it is much spicer than 99% of the instant noodles made in Japan.

This being in import, however, does come with an additional cost. Usually, you can get these in packs of 3 to 5, averaging out each noodle to be 80 to 110 yen, which is quite a lot more than the typical 60 to 80 yen Japanese noodles.

However, given the level of spiciness that is not offered by most Japanese noodles, this remains a very popular product in Japan.
