Sapporo's Yellow Ramen (Shoyu Flavour)

Previously I tried and really enjoyed this special "yellow" ramen from Sapporo, Hokkaido. The yellow comes from its unique colour created by the infused onion.

But last time I had the salt soup, and this time I picked up the soy sauce version, and it is by far the best-packaged noodles I have ever had.

As mentioned in the past, the noodles themselves are superb in texture and flavour, but this time it was the soy sauce soup base that really impressed me.

Rather than a blend soy sauce, this had plenty of flavours as well as the perfect amount of lard to make the soup feel premium. It really was a noodle I would expect from a shop and not just a package.

But again, considering how they are 500 yen for two noodles, they have to be THAT good to justify the price.
