Chocolaty Taiyaki

Taiyaki are one of my favourite Japanese snacks.  They are originally made with an anko filling but a few years ago Taiyaki booths started offering them with different kinds of fillings. Recently family mart released chocolate Taiyaki. Although this flavor exists for many years already not all booths sell them so I was happy to find them in a family mart close by. 

They do taste okay but since they are not freshly made obviously do not have the same great taste as the booths could offer.  If you have a booth close by I don't really recommend them. Nevertheless,  if you don't have any Taiyaki booths in your area and have a strong craving for them I recommend giving them a try!
