The description
Tominaga Trading's series of Kajuhi, low-alcohol ready-to-drink shochu highballs with stylish and minimalist labels includes yonashi for a limited time.
The good
I noticed this series of ready-to-drink shochu highball drinks at a 7-11. The tencho brings in novelties and craft drinks occasionally, so I get lured to the cooler to see what he's got. Tominaga Trading's series of chuhais come in cans, always short 350 ml, with stylish and minimalist designs. It's a low-alcohol concept drink. Occasionally, the chuhai series has limited products. This one, yonashi, pears but not Japanese pears, is a fully fruity drink. It's got a crisp, snappy finish and the low alcohol means the fruit flavor stands out.
The not so good
Kajuhi's Yonashi is lovely and priced right at under 150 yen. I have no complaints about this ready-to-drink chuhai. The Kajuji series is a concept-based drink with a stylish can design and low alcohol content meant to appeal to drinkers who don't need to get stonkered. It comes in various fruity flavors. The first anniversary edition features (white grape, apple, peach and mango. Others in the series are white grape, pink grapefruit, and apple. It's a limited-production version, and if you can catch it before it runs out, enjoy it!
