The company claims the masks guard against PM 2.5, yellow sand, viruses, and pollen. I find that when I have the mask on and breathe through it, there is little leakage to the sides or bottom. The masks are big enough for most adults. I don't feel constricted, and the mask doesn't stick to my face. The straps which are attached on the outside are soft and easy on the ears. Three things I like about these masks are the nose piece which is easy to shape and stays put, the long straps, and the inside layer is white. This last point is convenient when you're rushing to get a mask on before your glasses.

It looks like the manufacturer has compromised on size variation in favor of the appeal of the colors. The packaging doesn't indicate the size of the product. However, the straps are quite long which is great for people with big noses. Smaller people may have to knot the straps to get a good fit. The typical clinical use masks that I got from my employer and from the drugstore were not individually wrapped. I get the hygiene concern of keeping them clean until they go on your face, but I'd prefer unwrapped ones.
