Kujukuri Ocean Beer
I’m always up for a local flavor, whether it be shochu or beer. This time, on a trip to Kujukurihama beach in Chiba Prefecture, this beer is on offer.
The beer is produced by a local sake distillery, Kankiku-Meijo. Among the lineup was this pleasantly sweet stout with little head at all.
I’m curious about the other beers they do - IPA, Pilsner, and a koshihikari rice ale. All of the beers are made with the same spring water the brewers use for sake.
