These casual shoes were an impulse purchase, but hear me out. I only had in mind picking up dinner fixings at my local Besia when I noticed a display in the shoe department. The shoes look stylish and comfortable. And what really got me was the size range. This shoe brand is exclusive to Besia stores and are available in LL size and fit me! And they are a little more stylish than simple slipons with their Mary-Jane straps. I was willing to pay a bit more for comfy footwear that fits and breathes well.

The Mary-Jane style slip on shoes are a little more expensive than the typical casual shoes I find on Amazon Japan. But they're a little cuter, have thicker soles with grippy bottoms, and the size range accommodates my feet. I'm not a big person, but I struggle to find ladies' shoes my size. Hapi Labo, a brand exclusive to Besia, is one of the few that have sizes above 25 cm as a rule. Besia's product page says that Hapi Labo is addressing Japanese womens' need for comfortable and roomy shoes. They also make formal footwear.
