Winter Illuminations at Kashiwanoha Campus

According to the Japan Meteorological Corporation, the Kanto region sees peak autumn colours this week. But since we're already into December, the glorious foliage coincides with winter illumination season.

On my way to an appointment at Kashiwanoha Campus, the "smart city", I passed through the plaza between the Tokyo University satellite campus and a hotel to see a small but dazzling light display.

Besides the requisite photo spot is an animated LED display wall that cycles every five minutes.

I was encouraged to linger on this covered plaza with tall trees with twinkling light displays because it's also got community WIFI!

Point us to some minor but soothing illuminations where you are!
