The description

Mitsubishi Foods collaborates with the candy brand Kamukamu for a novelty shochu highball drink. The drink flavour is the novelty. It's Nan no Aji? What flavour?

The good

The label on this drink hits all the buttons - it has a cute promotional character, it's rainbow-coloured, and multiple languages. Mitsubishi Foods and Kamukamu, a candy manufacturer, team up for this shochu highball, Kamu Kamu Nan no Aji Sawa. The can asks the drinker, "What's the flavour?" in Japanese, English, and French. The novelty drink doesn't indicate on the front of the label what the shochu highball is flavoured with. It's a guessing game. Well, it's fruity, sweet and sour, and hard to pin down. Spoiler below.

The not so good

This is an amusing drink to bring to a gathering or home to your partner to see what they think of the flavour. Kamu Kamu Nan no Aji Sour is a cheap and fun guessing game. Before the spoiler, note that the label has cautions that this is an alcoholic drink (3%). The cute character might lure children to try it. Keep it out of little hands. About the flavour - I had to check the product website. And the answer is...camu camu. No, really. It's a berry fruit from South America. I was tricked, too! I thought kamu kamu was simply the Japanese onomatopoeia for chewy.
