Learn About the Public Sewage System
These are a series of excursions that visit water reclamation centers in the morning, and The Sewage Works Exhibition ’19 Yokohama in the afternoon. There are 8 reclamation centers in the city of Yokohama (locations of the centers for each excursion are different for each date. The Sewage Works Exhibition is a largest annual exhibition on the theme of sewage systems.
Date&Time: Aug. 6 (Tue) 9:30-, Aug. 7 (Wed) 9:30-, and Aug. 8 (Thu) 9:00-
Limit: 50 people each tour *First-come basis
Eligibility: Elementary school children and their guardians who live or go to school in Yokohama. *Children must be accompanied by adults.
Fee: Free *Please bring your own lunches and drinks.
To Apply: From July 11, please call the Water Reclamation Center you would like to visit. Please check the Yokohama Environmental Planning Bureau website for details.
