Moved back to Japan in 2022 so my wife could be closer to her family. We've lived for the past 11 years in Cambodia, where my work is still based, and I go back and forth regularly. I'm working out of a co-working space in Akihabara most weekdays. My main interests are photography (mostly street), urban design, urban planning, small-scale architecture, fitness (I own a Crossfit gym in Cambodia), public policy, music (indie/punk/soul), and reading (long fiction, lots of political science, history, and sociology). I'm studying Japanese but find it difficult to meet/talk with anyone here. I don't go out much, but happy to meet up. I drink, but not a lot. I like food and love to cook, but I'm not a "foodie" (I feel too many restaurants have swerved to Instagramability rather than creating food and nourishment).
