Installing a Japanese light fixture
Installing a light fixture in Japan is super simple, even the larger fixtures. There is a round or rectangular piece that affixes to the ceiling. It has two metal prongs that slide into the ceiling slots and you just turn it into place.
Can you see the two metal prongs?
Just insert into the L shaped holes.
Our super fancy fixtures that look like bubbles of light and are controlled by remote attached with the short cord you can see above. you then just click the light in place.
Then place the cover on it and you are finished.
There are other fixtures that are even less complicated. The box to attach to the ceiling is on a cord to the fixture. You literally just insert the metal prongs, twist and you are done.
