Dog leash hook

I don't have a dog. I wish that I did. I've wanted one forever. My friend in the other hand does have one. A cute adorable friendly thing that wiggles and loves going for walks. So when I went to visit my friend in Nerima, Saitama (pretty much in Tokyo but not),

I was thrilled to go on several walks with her even in the humid summer evening. We decided to stop at a convenience store while out and the best little thing was right outside the door.Dog leash hook photo

I am pretty sure I have never noticed these anywhere else I've been. In rural Gunma where I live, you just wouldn't stop at the conbini with your furry baby. Take them for their walk then go home and get in your car to go to the store. Or do the stupid dangerous thing I've seen where they leashed the dog to the poles that stop cars from going too far forward when parking. It was stupid because the dog was literally squatting in a parking space with no way to run away if a car came to park.

I'm glad Nerima has these dog leash hooks and wish they were a norm.

Have any of you seen them?

I've seen dog leash hitching in front of some convenience stores in parts of Saitama. The spots are usually under the awning, so the dog doesn't roast in the sun or get drenched in the rain.

@TonetoEdo Saitama seems the best place to have a dog!
