The description

This product is a two-pack of "Awa Qutto" sponges, and they have a unique design with holes throughout. I ordered them from Amazon Japan for 167 yen.

The good

Any time I place an Amazon Japan order using my gift card proceeds from blogging on here, I typically add a pack of sponges if I have a small amount of cash left...they're something I always know will get used, and they're typically an inexpensive addition. This two-pack was 167 yen, and what makes them different from other sponges is that they have a number of holes that cut through the sponge itself, meaning that a) they do a good job of foaming up, and b) they are quicker to dry out than other sponges. I think this is good from a hygiene standpoint! Price-wise I don't think they're too bad, they feel sturdier than some other sponges I've purchased from 100 yen stores so I think the price is decent.

The not so good

If you are just wanting the maximum value for money, you can get some bulk packs of sponges at places like Daiso for 100 yen plus tax. These do seem sturdier than ones I've purchased from 100 yen stores, however, so I think it's important to factor that in. Overall, I like these, and the holes throughout the product do seem to make the dishwashing liquid foam up better. They're something to consider adding to your Amazon Japan order if you have a couple of hundred yen to spare and you're trying to use it up! Happy cleaning!
