Cedar pollen season begins (in Tokyo, at least)

If you're an allergy sufferer, it's likely that you keep track of things like pollen data to know when you might start experiencing itchy eyes, a runny nose, and any other symptoms that kafunsho season brings. In some disheartening news, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that cedar pollen was observed in the city on January 8th, an entire month earlier than last year.
