If you want a caffeine fix that also offers a bit of a feelgood factor, this Organic Women's Hand Fair Trade Blend from Kaldi Coffee Farm does the trick! The coffee is grown by hand by Guatemalan women, and the whole goal of this project is to help support women's independence while improving their social status and economic environment. It's not priced any differently than a lot of Kaldi's other single serving coffee sachets, so it's a nice way to help out the world in a way that doesn't require any huge lifestyle change. These are great for the days you don't want to brew a whole pot of coffee, and it's cheaper than getting a takeout coffee from a cafe so the value for money aspect isn't bad at all.

Because the sachets are for one individually wrapped coffee, there is a bit of single use plastic waste that comes along with these. I would like to see Kaldi transition to a more sustainable way of packaging these, as I think then they'd also be helping reduce their environmental footprint. Packaging aside, the coffee tasted good, I like that I can just have one cup rather than brewing a whole pot, and I also appreciate that this is an easy way to help support women's independence. I'd buy these again in the future if they were still available! They'd also be fun to send home if you mail care packages to coffee-loving friends and family.
