First of all I was very happy to still see strawberry products on shelves at a time that I usually think the season is over. I count that as a win! Interestingly, this daifuku product opted to forgo the usual bean paste and went with a whipped milk cream filling instead. I think this would be a good option for people who aren't the biggest fan of bean paste! Flavor-wise, I enjoyed this. I think strawberries and cream is a really classic combination, and wrapped in the wonderfully chewy mochi outer it would make for a convenient on-the-go snack. Definitely give it a try if you see it at your local store!

Although I didn't feel like this was a waste of money, the product is certainly priced a little higher than many of the other desserts of a similar size at convenience stores. I really love daifuku so was more than happy to pay the 190 yen, but there are more filling options out there for the price if you're mindful of cost. Other than that, I don't really have any complaints to offer. This product is a great option if you're craving daifuku and also want to get your strawberry fix before the season is completely over.
