The best fast food

In my home country, fast food has the immediate connotation of being unhealthy, typically. Burgers and fries from drive-thru outlets, corner fish and chip stores, pizza shops -- not really anything you'd say is all that good for you.

It's part of why I love yakiimo at this time of year. A couple of our local supermarkets and the farmer's market have warmers full of them right by their entryways, so you immediately get the delicious smell of them when you walk in. 

I also love that they're simply packed in brown paper bags, so there is an eco-friendly element to them! No plastic waste that won't biodegrade for centuries or millennia.
