As a fan of almost everything sweet potato flavored, and an additionally big fan of choux cream pastries, this sweet potato choux from Beard Papa was a must-try item for me. The choux pastry is filled with a cream containing naruto kintoki sweet potatoes -- and you can see in my photo that the potato skin is visible in the cream as well! The flavor was great, and I felt like the price is reasonable at 270 yen -- it is a sizeable choux pastry, and my husband and I split this because it was honestly too much for me in one go. Well worth trying if you're a fan of sweet potato treats and also like choux cream pastries!

This sweet potato choux cream filling is only available for the month of September, so you have only got a few days left to try it out if it sounds good to you. I wish it would stick around a little longer, a month seems like a short timeframe when most other places still seem to offer sweet potato things throughout October at least. Overall though, this was a very tasty treat, I loved the visual appeal with the potato skins still being visible, and the flavor was fantastic. Give it a go if you have a Beard Papa store near you -- happy eating, and enjoy!
