10 days off!

How many days off work do you get for Golden Week this year? The company I work for has opted to take a full break for the Golden Week period, giving us extra days even for the non-allocated public holidays. That means we get a 10 day extended break – and I'm very much looking forward to some downtime!

I also like that it's almost forced rest, since the idea of traveling anywhere during this period doesn't sound appealing at all. We're staying local, and I'll probably spend the time catching up on a few household tasks, taking some long walks or bike rides with my family, and maybe checking out some seasonal flowers at parks and gardens nearby. Those parks and gardens are likely to be busier than usual, but certainly not as a busy as in big cities.

What are your plans for the Golden Week break? Do you have an extended amount of time off, or are you working on the regular days?
