Two Japanese airlines make the Skytrax Top 10 for 2024

Something I've always appreciated about living in Japan is that the public transport is (almost always) on time, clean, and efficient. When it comes to airlines, I've had excellent experiences with JAL and ANA, with everything from the boarding process to the inflight service feeling streets ahead of other airlines I've flown before.

Skytrax recently released their Top 10 airlines list for 2024, and it didn't come as any surprise to me to see that both of Japan's main airlines made the cut. ANA came in at fourth place, and JAL came in at sixth place, with Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Emirates making up the top three.

How do you find the airlines here? Do you tend to opt for ANA or JAL where possible, or do you choose budget carriers like Peach or Jetstar?
