Strawberry Kinako Mochi

For fans of 'fuwafuwa' kinako mochi, this is an interesting seasonal version. Strawberry daifuku flavor is a bit more expensive than the regular kinako mochi. This was 200 yen for six bags. 

The smell was obvious strawberry on opening the bag, but there wasn't any other strawberry daifuku - like taste. I think it had something like kinako without that flavor, as the texture was the same. Powdery on the outside and melts in your mouth.

I think I like the original better, but am a sucker for these seasonal flavors.
