Calbee Jagabee - Ume

I've tried many of Calbee's Jagarico, however this is the first time that I am trying their Jagabee snack. I am a huge fan of umeboshi, or Japanese pickled plums. I saw this one and immediately had to get it. This container is a little smaller than the regular Jagarico that I'm used to getting. 

I was surprised to see that the potato sticks were more shaped like actual french fries unlike Jagarico. The texture of these were more similar to fries as well. I'm not sure how I felt about this. I definitely would prefer real fries with ume powdered on it, but at the same time I don't think ume and potatoes match. I think I only slightly enjoyed this because of the ume flavor alone. 

Also, I actually found the Jagarico flavored ume, which I will try next! But as of now, I'm not a big fan of this flavor.
