How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi)

I went to DisneySea last month and instead of buying my tickets online, I purchased the tickets at Lawson convenience store. If you buy the tickets online, you have two options to print the tickets or have them mailed to you. I don't have a printer at home, but I was going to have them mailed to my house instead. For some reason, while going through the process on Tokyo Disney's official website, my card was rejected. I was then forced to purchase the tickets at the convenience store.

At Lawson, the ticket purchasing machine that they have is Loppi. I'm not sure if there is an English option, however this is steps that I did in Japanese. It is a really easy process!

  1. This is what the display menu looks like. I selected the bottom center Disney Resort icon. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo
  2. You can choose between Tokyo Disneyland (first option) or Tokyo DisneySea (second option). There are also other options such as "After 6 pm Disneyland passport" (third option), and "After 6 pm DisneySea passport" (fourth option). These options are available during the week from Monday through Friday. There is also Starlight passes, which are after 3 pm on the weekends (Saturday & Sunday). Starlight Passport for Disneyland is the fifth option and Starlight Passport for DisneySea is the sixth option. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo
  3. After selecting your choice, you can see the different prices. They are adult prices (ages 18 and older), junior prices (age 12-17), and children prices (age 4-11). Disney does have senior (65 and older) prices, however it appears it may not be offered at these convenience stores. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo
  4. Next, you choose the date you want to purchase for. It also displays what days are sold out/ unavailable. If you want to purchase a Starlight price, it will probably block out dates during the week and vice versa for After 6 pm passport only available during the weekday. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo
  5. After, select how many tickets you want for each age category using the arrows pointing up. I needed three adult tickets. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo
  6. Then you click the bottom orange button to confirm the information is correct. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo
  7. Click the orange button again to confirm. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo
  8. After confirming, your receipt will be printed at the bottom. This is not the Disney ticket, it is the receipt you give to the cashier to pay. You have to pay for them within 30 minutes. How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo

  10. Bring this receipt to the cashier and when you finish paying, they will print out your Disney tickets and that's it!How to buy DisneySea tickets from Lawson (Loppi) photo

And that's it! How simple was this!! I only purchased tickets ahead of time because it was a 3-day weekend and I didn't want want to risk waiting in line or anything. This was so convenient and I will probably try to buy more tickets online like this!

Hi Tifuani. Thanks -- this is very helpful! I've been trying to purchase DisneySea tickets on the official website but I keep getting logged out after adding tickets to the cart. So, so frustrating. There is a Lawson near our hotel so reading your post is very reassuring. Quick check, the Disney tickets issued by Lawson -- are these ready-to-go tickets, or do I need to exchange to a physical ticket prior to entry? I assume all Lawson stores in Tokyo would have these Loppi machines, am I right? Also, do you think I'm risking it if I buy tickets only the night before planned entry - would tickets run out? I'm planning to visit DisneySea on a regular Wednesday. Thanks for your help!

@Azrena9470 Hello! I'm glad you found this helpful ^^ The tickets issued by Lawson are ready to go! These are the tickets the staff at Disney will be scanning when entering the park~ I also purchased my tickets for a 3-day holiday weekend (on a Saturday) and tickets at the door weren't sold out so I think you will be fine purchasing them the night before. Have fun!
