Walking from Honshu to Kyushu

Yes, you read the title correctly - you can walk from Honshu to Kyushu!  It doesn't take long, and guess what?  It's FREE!

No, it's not just walking across a bridge.  This is a really unique experience.  You can walk underground in the Kanmon Tunnel from Moji in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka (Kyushu) to Shimonoseki in Yamaguchi (Honshu).  It's a great escape from blazing sun, noisy traffic, or anything else that could annoy you.  

Anyway, how many times can you say that you walked from one end to the other of the world's first under-ocean tunnel?  It's only 700m long, and there are great views and interesting things to see and do on both ends.
