Concert tickets?

Any tips on the where and how to of buying concert tickets? My eldest daughter really wants to go see Mrs Green Apple live at some point and I've never actually been to a concert here - well not that type of concert. And the only concerts I've looked up before are for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, because I knew exactly where and when that concert was going to be (ended up not buying, long story!) and that was a long time ago.

Just following up on this, I had a look at the Mrs Green Apple site: https://mrsgreenapple.com/schedule/list/2024/10/?cat=L_ALL,live02,live03,live04,live06,live05,live08 They are playing some live shows in October at K-Arena in Yokohama. There is a contact listed (SOGO TOKYO 03-3405-9999) so maybe they can provide some info about how to get tickets on that number!

I always have just bought through Lawson, but the last concert I went to was a while ago. @yokolostinjapan goes to a lot of concerts and might be able to help, I don't know how frequently she blogs on here any more so I don't know if she will see this notification though!

It is kinda different for every band so you have to check their website on how they sell their tickets. Some sell only online, some you can get at the convenience store, some are lottery and some a first-come-first-serve.

https://mrsgreenapple.com/news/detail/20726 I checked the Mrs. Green apple site and here is the information about their recent ticket sales. It seems there is a lottery ongoing until today.

Your favourite wordplay, pun, or palindrome in Japanese

BigfamJapan blogged about a day for palindromes, and I had a good chuckle. I love wordplay in Japanese! What's your favourite pun, palindrome, or spoonerism (a phrase that gets mangled into another meaning when you switch syllables). For reference, I cracked up when a coworker said "Naiyo ga nai yo" on finding an empty sweets packet.

Did you feel the December 8th earthquake?

There was a large earthquake off the coast of Aomori Prefecture at 11.15 pm on December 8th 2025. We are approximately 700 kilometers from the epicenter, yet we felt it very strongly. Did you feel it and how far away (roughly) are you from the epicenter?
