Located in Kakegawa City, our factory employs a “clean room system” to maintain a clean and safe environment in which to produce tea. You can find us next to the Fukamushi Kakegawa Tea Village and the famed “Chagusaba” tea-growing area designated a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. 

At Howaen we oversee the creation of tea across all stages, from production to delivery, using our own original management system. This means we can maintain consistent and high standards in all aspects of the production of our Kakegawa tea. In particular, our organic tea is one of the refined teas of which we are most proud -- paying close attention to everything from the soil in which it is grown through to avoiding the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
