Ganbaru Farm Kawane Store, Yamakasho Plantation
a place to experience shizuoka tea
Yamakasho Green Tea Farm is located in the Kawane tea production region, upstream of the Oigawa River.
Our quaint farm building, made from local wood, is attached directly to the tea production facility.
Here you can try tea-picking experience wearing traditional Cha Musume clothing. In the adjacent kominka (traditional old home) you can experience hand rolling tea, as well as enjoy tasting and comparing teas out on the building's traditional veranda.
