Seafood Fusion Delight
Red Lobster in Tokyo offers a taste of American seafood with a Japanese twist. While the menu features classics like lobster and shrimp, the Tokyo location adds local flair with unique dishes. Despite being a chain restaurant, the quality of seafood is consistently fresh and flavorful. Prices may be higher compared to local options, but the vibrant atmosphere and friendly service make it a worthwhile dining experience.

Lots of variety - not just seafood
Red Lobster is an American chain that has a decent number of branches in Japan, and this one is about 20 minutes on foot from Musashisakai Station. The menu has tons of variety -- not just lobster, although there's plenty of that, too. Buffalo chicken wings, popcorn shrimp, spare ribs, pasta dishes...the list goes on. Based on price this is only somewhere we've been once, for novelty value, mainly. To give you a price estimate, the popcorn shrimp meal is just over 1600 yen, for something that really would be served at a fast food restaurant for half that.

American Lobster, Japanese Style
The restaurant is slightly inconvenient to get to, but there is a lot of parking available. By bus, it's about a fifteen to twenty-minute ride to the nearest station, so it's can be a hassle to go to. That said, the restaurant does well with American fare. Although the onion rings don't have that crunch that I personally prefer, it does come close. I ordered the lobster tail with mayonnaise sauce and chicken Milanese. It was a decent affair, but it was a bit heavy on the sauce. The mushrooms were actually the best thing that I ate during the visit. The restaurant itself was a comfortable environment. You can see the lobsters in the tank right as you enter. Service was decent and polite, and there were no unreasonable delays to the food. Overall decent, but price was a bit high at around 3,500 yen per person.
