  • Excellent Small Bakery

Love this bakery’s Focaccia. Most focaccia I’ve tried had a very dry, crisp crust and a light, airy body, but entrance’s take on focaccia is a bit more substantial. The crust maintains the crispiness of others, but the bread itself is a tad denser and much chewier, and I love it that way. The price point may skew a little high, but for smaller restaurants, that absolutely tracks, and I prefer giving my money to smaller businesses over chain stores. Also indulged in a ‘jaga butter’, which was akin to a potato muffin with cumin baked into it, and it was amazing. The cumin added just the right amount of tang to every potato and bread mouthful. The menu has rotated a bit day-to-day, and as with most stores, if you want your choice of bread you should arrive early. From buying to bagging, it only takes a few minutes if you want your order to go, or you could enjoy sitting in the restaurant while the staff warms your bread and enjoy a cup of coffee from the coffee specialist right next door.
