    Sorely missed hospitality Mongolian style

This restaurant serving Mongolian and Chinese food has left the landscape of Noda City's Kawama neighbourhood. In its place was a short-lived ramen shop. There is also an izakaya, Seahorse, serving good food here, some Asian-inspired dishes included. If you're in the mood for some international cuisine, check out some of the Indian, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese restaurants on the other side of Kawama Station.

    Authentic Taiwanese and Mongolian food

Just outside of Kawama Station on the Tobu Urban Park Line is an authentic Taiwanese restuarant that serves Taiwanese Chinese dishes, rice noodles and sides. It's flavorful and filling. The price is good, too. But the restaurant has an "ura menu", items that don't appear on the main menu. The ura menu has Mongolian home cooking. Our favorite is mutton and vegetables cooked on a teppan hot plate. When we have a crowd, we usually order the spicy vegetables and chicken over noodles with a spicy and tangy sauce. If you're not familiar with names of Taiwanese and Mongolian dishes, don't worry. The Taiwanese selections are in a pictorial menu on the table, and the Mongolian ones are on posters on the wall.
