casual place serving fancy shaved ice
Hot weather calls for a cool treat and this is the place to go. Even in winter the menu changes to warm snacks.this place makes a pile of ice look pleasing to look at and tasty. We stopped here after a long hot bike ride, so I got the refreshing fruity orange, while my friend enjoyed the earl grey tea. Hers came with a lovely lemony cookie. The seating was sparse with only a few tables some in an area with tatami that you need to take your shoes off for. It was nice because my son was free to play, but the place seemed to be full most of the time with a bit of a wait after we arrived. You order and pay vending machine style after entering the shop and hand your ticket to the waitress. It was a bit confusing because the menu was on one board with pictures and only the name written on the ticket machine. prices range from about 500 to 900 yen.
