The Oni Museum

The oni museum of Kitakami is to the southwest of the city, surrounded by fields, rice paddies, and woods. As you enter the museum you'll be greeted by a wall of masks, dominated by the face of a giant oni. The museum itself is a hallway displaying costumes, masks, and folk art. Beware of the zo'onna mask.
