Aoyama Seaside Park

Pleasant waterfront park

Aoyama Seaside Park is a pleasant waterfront park not far from the Niigata Marinepia Aquarium, and it's a nice place to go for a stroll or watch the sunset. The views out over the Sea of Japan are just lovely, and each time we've gone past here the place has been just about deserted, so it feels like a real hidden gem. If you are visiting with stroller aged-children, just be aware there are some parts along the paths with stairs.
