Mexican food chain that is similar to Chipotle
After living in the States for a while I got hooked on Mexican food like Chipotle - quick, easy burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and all that jazz. When I moved to Japan initially and lived in Tokyo, I worried about where I would find my fix, but Frijoles helped to fill that void. They have a similar setup to what you'd find at a Chipotle store in the States. You essentially build your own burrito/taco/burrito bowl by letting the staff member preparing your food know what you want in it. Their choices of meat include grilled chicken, carnitas or steak, and then they've got all the add-ins that you'd expect - black beans, cilantro lime rice, a variety of salsas, cheese, sour cream, and guac. Portion sizes aren't as big as what you'd get back in the States (I could make several meals out of one Chipotle burrito back there!) but the freshness is top notch and taste is on point. Recommended if you're after a Mexican food fix!
